Starting a new life as an insulin pumping wife!
I was just thinking while I was out running today that I need to post pix of Fall in VT for you guys! Also, can you eat elderberries? I haven't seen them nor heard of them before.Great pix.
Oh yes! They are so natural (aka "organic") too. They obviously haven't been sprayed! ;) They have tiny seeds in them, and although you can pit each tiny one, and make pie it takes a loooonnngggg time! You can juice them and use Splenda to make Jam. It's fun to go up the canyon, and pick something that you actually eat! They have about 200 calories for a cup, with 10 grams of carbs, and 10 grams of fiber and only half a gram of fat.(yay)I cheated a little bit with the pictures, because we have mostly aspens, and maples with yellow leaves. There is a whole canyon that has nothing but sugar maples, and that's where I took the pictures of the res and orange leaves. My sister lives in CT and they have lots of reds, and orange leaves.Have a great day Reyna!
I grew up in the northeast and live in AZ now, where we don't have beautiful fall foliage. In fact, it still looks like summer here. I miss the change of seasons. I especially miss the fall. Your photos made me homesick, but in the best way. Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful! I'm so glad you posted them! :)
